Justice Assistance Grant (JAG)

The purpose of the Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) is to enhance the efforts of law enforcement, prosecution, the Courts and providers of prevention and education services that meet or exceed performance objectives.

Public Review and Comments Invited:

The FY 2017 Justice Assistance Grant program requires a 30 day public review and comment period prior to submission of a joint application filed on behalf of Franklin County and the cities of Columbus and Whitehall. Questions, concerns and/or comments regarding the proposed application, available by clicking on the link below, may be directed to the Franklin County Office of Justice Policy and Programs at 614-525-5577. Please submit all comments prior to the cutoff date of September 29, 2017.

Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (JJDP)

Juvenile Accountability Block Grant (JABG)

The Purpose of the Juvenile Accountability Block Grant (JABG) is to provide grant funding to local justice agencies so they can implement projects to deliver juvenile accountability services that meet or exceed performance objectives.

Title II

The purpose of the Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention (JJDP) Title II Grant is to provide grant funding to community-based agencies so they can implement projects that deliver juvenile justice services that meet or exceed performance objectives.

Violence Against Women

The purpose of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) Program is to provide grant funding to local government and community-based agencies so they can implement projects to deliver adult female victim services that meet or exceed their performance objectives.
