The Franklin County Reentry Coalition is charged with creating safer neighborhoods and more productive residents by increasing the success rates of ex-offenders transitioning from correctional and rehabilitative institutions back into the community.
Report suspicious activity. Call Ohio Homeland Security at 1-877-OHS-INTEL (1-877-647-4683). For emergency, call 9-1-1. Do not jeopardize your safety or the safety of others.
Funding obtained through OHSJP goes to support eight-week training courses for adults and youth facilitated by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
Completion of training will prepare participants to provide support to public safety forces during disasters as well as volunteer during special and routine events.
The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) is a multi-agency task force dedicated to the fight against computer facilitated crimes against children. Task force investigators offer internet safety presentations to parents, teachers, various groups and members of the community.
The presentations are typically 2 hours long and help to educate the audience on the potential dangers the internet poses to our youth, as well as warning signs to look for and ways to prevent youth from becoming a victim of an online sexual predator.
To schedule a presentation, please contact Corporal Dan Johnson at 614-525-3318.
